I often wonder if the second child feels slighted when getting ready to leave for college. My son is the lucky number two in our house. This time next week we will be pulling away from Western Kentucky University and sadly leaving him behind. He has everything he needs or so we think.
One thing that I have learned is that sons are definitely different than daughters. Girls need matching things, extras of everything, rugs, curtains, sparkles, etc etc etc. I ask my son dude do you need anything. His response nope. We had a spare refrig, microwave, and coffee pot. Food and a bed that's it!😮
So house rules, no TV, Xbox etc at college first year. I know but first learn to be in college before you get to play! Hard ass that I am he has agreed. I let him know that he has his room assignment. Do you want to call your roommate? Uh hummm NO! Guys don't do that I guess. No special shopping for him. More worried about food and laundry money! Well at least he won't smell!😉
